This is live drum and bass as you've never experienced before. Featuring the Jungle Drummer - a unique live performer who has developed his own style through his musical awareness and experience from ten years of playing with the biggest live acts in Turntablism, dance music, and drum and bass. His stamina makes him able to drum at 180 BPM for 2 hours plus and his all-out approach understanding of DJ culture and technical ability make him stand out on his own as a live drummer. DJ Fu is fast becoming one of the rising stars of drum and bass and Turntablism, due to his musicality, tight mixing and scratching ability. His approach, originality, and skills when working with the Jungle Drummer have not only taken his DJ-ing to another level, but has helped the project evolve into one of the most successful drummer-DJ combinations yet. In less than two years, he has gone from being a resident at local nights to playing at some of the biggest events in the world. Put this together and you get Jungle vs Fu - a live project that is always developing, pushing boundaries, smashing crowds all over the UK, Europe and the USA.
Since their debut in Summer 2006, as documented with their infamous Youtube footage from Truck Fest Oxford, the show has evolved to new heights of live performance, combining the best assets of both artists for a totally unique club experience. Mega mixes of classics where Fu matches the same pattern from the record to Jungle's drums. Jungle's ability to play a broad amount of drumming styles means that Fu has to match his bass lines rhythmically across hip hop, dubstep, ragga, jungle, and drum and bass, also testing the MC's ability to perform in unison with Jungle and Fu. As well as all this, the show features precision drum timing, perfect mixing, scratch and drum battles up to 200bpm, live remixes of old and new classics, super fast cuts and drops, firing tune selection and a massive bag of crowd teasing tricks to ensure a great reaction from everyone, smashing dance floors wherever they play. This show is definitely not just another club set!
A crucial part of this show is the MC who adapts to everything that happens on stage creating a relationship between the performers. The MC is the extra
dimension to the show, accentuating the focal points of the performance going off wherever they play. Currently, Jungle and Fu are working with Trip, Stamina MC, Lowqui, Eksman, Rodney P, Tonn Piper, Harry Shotta and Script MC.
The diversity of the show is attracting attention from all over the globe and it's not just clubs getting in on the action. They've played at festivals like Glastonbury, Global Gathering, DMC World DJ championships, Z008, North Sea Jazz festival, Audio River, Nass Skate Fest, Summer Break, Gatecrasher to name a few. They've played alongside artists as diverse as Korn, Placebo, Rahzel, DJ Craze, Q-Bert, DJ Hype, Goldie, Andy C, Zane Lowe, Dreadzone, Krafty Kuts, Pendulum, Mad Professor, Scratch Perverts, Roni Size Reprezent, Annie Mac, DJ Marky, DJ Yoda, Skream, Benga, UNKLE, Diesel Boy, Mark Ronson, Carl Cox, Joey Beltram and Stanton Warriors.

Going from strength to strength, the duo constantly seeks to improve its routines, reach wider audiences and test its own limits. This year has also seen a continuing increase in publicity for the show. The hype around them on the internet grows daily, as does their fan base. They are currently in the process of putting together original material due for release in 2009. As their notoriety grows from smashing club after club, the guys look to take their show to new levels of performance.
